I'm not American but I have 3 first cousins who went to Ivy Leagues and 1 who went to MIT and that's just my close family, there are probably plenty more out there

My little brother got an offer to Warwick to do mechanical engineering this September, I also go to a Russell group school, I’m actually very snobby I chose his university choices

yall need to stop having this small mind of thinking somali can't accomplish anything it's really shameful and disgusting behaviour, of course there's somalis who go to ivy

There are plenty. Not a ton, due to our population, but a decent amount. They just do not post it on social media and like most people are private. There are also somalis who work in consulting and private equity with MBAs. I have seen them myself lol. There are lots of somalis doing well.

Nobody said they can't, you need to stop twisting my words with you negativity and understand that my point was showing postive Influence within our community. Some of you on here need to improve your reading skills.

Neither one of my parents went to college, they came from Somalia, they never went to first grade. They don’t even know English. So when I went home, I would go home to a family who didn’t know how to set me up for college. They didn’t know what the medical field entails,” said Sharif.
