Best Response to Bantu claims of racism

I love Somali Bantus and I think they bring a lot to the nation as do other minorities like Arabs etc.

With that being said a lot of Somalis are under attack for being called racist because we dont like mixing with Bantu, marriage wise. Also political oppression (Im not a fan of the .5 system either).

While I get this is a problem, this is being used to humiliate Somalis by calling them anti-black.

The best response to this is to use DEI (invented by Black Americans/Jews etc on the West):

In order to be racist you have to have power, therefore Somalis cannot be racist. End of discussion.

I had a debate with this blm xalimo who was doing the usual tap dancing for Black Americans because they dont gaf about Bantus in Somalia. They do this for Black Americans who are the most powerful Black people on earth. So imagine how idiotic it is for a Somali person to attack their own people who are one of the poorest to appease one fo the wealthiest people with the most cultural power in the world? This is done out of desperation, self hate, and appeasing Black supremacist in the West, simple.

Imo this evil and I have serious disdain for any Black supremacist Somalis. I dont give f*ck if they do this for dating reasons. I have friends who IR date who dont do this. This is some sick mentality.

Bantus are one of the most successful tribes in Africa and are in many nations. Yes, we Africans are tribal. And imo Somalis are not the same as bantus just like we aren't the same as Zulus. Zulu are not the same as Bantus etc. Why is saying thos racist? Like I said we are doing worse than some Bantus nations.

Lastly, I've seen people saying Somalis look ugly, not funny etc. Are we not allowed to have anything? We are a nation that has been strife with war. And our diaspora have to go to new lands and adapt. That is fucking hard. Nomadic life is hard. I am proud of Somali people of all tribes. And I am sick of this self hatred in the form of black supremacy.

This is why I support the FBA movement. Reject every wannabe A.A Africans. They dont have our history and we dont have theirs. Fba is doing us a favor because jumping onto their culture is lazy and disrespectful. Can we benefit from dei etc yes we can. And last time I checked Barack is East African. So we do contribute and yes I'll still claim him because he is closer to me than an African American.

The Somali diaspora just like any group have to make our culture which will be watered down from our homeland just like every group from Italians to Nigerians.

Anyways we need informal education for Somalis in the West to combat this. I am getting sick and tired of this. We are flawed people but to label us racist is idiotic when we have bigger issues to fix. Inshallah one day we will have more wealth and prosperity to improve Somali people. Wealth bring human rights and with that minorities and Somalis (men, women, children) lives will improve. In the meantime stfu about racism, colorism and other issues that can only improve with a functional government and money.

You need power to be racist, so Somalis by that definition of racist can't be racist end of discussion. Please spread this because is the best response to attacks on Somalis by the anti-black crowd. They dont like us its the other way around. They have anti-somali bias not the other way around. Most of us grew up on A.A on tv like every other group. Most aren't like this but the ones who are, I can't stand.

Please remember Rwanda as well. Tutsis are cushites like us and they were slaughtered because we are different from them. But because the West is more supportive of black people and hated Islam for an long time and still do they make us look like the villains.

Just look at Hotel Rwanda the actor was Hutu while his wife was Tutsis played by a biracial woman. Also they kill Somalis in South Africa too they see us as different. Your right about the wealth part. I've met plenty of African Americans and west Africans that were a lot more privileged compared to the average Somali in America.

Also I mentioned this before on here. Majority of the BLM Somalis yall speak off grew up in Somali hotspots and never had to worry about dealing with discrimination from Madows. They live in areas where Somali gangs are known for being violent so Madows in these areas by default have to be cautious when it comes to dealing with somalis.

If people haven’t worked out by now that hypocrisy is a big thing in these circles then they’ll never learn (they will accuse others of racism while making racist comments & then say they can’t be racist). They thought this before the trolls appeared. You can read old threads on here about them being cuunsuri to us then try to justify it by calling us antiblack. This is something they do with all groups btw like even FBAs call africans and caribbeans antiblack and accuse them of self hate when they disagree with them. They do this to try and justify what they’re saying which is why people talk about the race card and stuff like that. Obviously racism is real but insulting people then going “actually it’s ok for me to say this because they’re antiblack” is a dumb excuse that nobody falls for anymore. But yes, most activist types live in homogeneous communities and don’t know what it’s like to experience racism or islamophobia from minorities

Exactly especially young millienials and gen z groups. The older Somalis used to be bullied and would fight black people. Thats how we developed the reputation by fighting them off. If you live with them you have to fight them. Go look at Italians, Irish etc race clashes with black people.

Where I live they no longer mess with us. But that was not the case in the early 90s. Plus a lot of the aggression is from the men to men not towards Somali girls. They dont have to worry about getting gunned down by Black men. So they dont see the same way. This is why some Somali men hate other black men for this reason. Us women dont have to deal with it. Plus they some may like Somali girls. One of my pro black friends married a black man and his whole family of women hate her. Look down on her. They were wealthier than her family. She was shocked by this lol.

White people dont live near them for a reason which takes the pressure off the men to defend their women.

A lot of biracial overcompensate being black in order to not be attacked by them. They got mad when Beyonces mom said they would bully her for being mixed looking. But if we say anything about this issue they will attack you.

Exactly I remember they put Beyonce and Jay's marriage on a pedestal and would call Kanye a c@@n. Guess what? They called North prettier than Blue when she was born. You can't make this up.

Best thing to do for your sanity is to simply not interject yourself in these spaces. We are Somalis. We have our own culture, native language and deep rooted recorded lineage. Above all we are Muslims.

Just stay out of these demonic cultures and circles. Above all do not label yourself black. It is a label that not only is meaningless but carries tremendous negative baggage/energy. No one should label themselves after a colour, it does not make sense.

Imagine being free and happy, then willingly putting yourself into mental bondage. It does not make sense.

I support fighting against police brutality but it doesn't have to be from blm. There are many other groups that can do it and I would support any group who have proper solutions. Imo holding police accountable is good. My solution would be to fund them more not less. So they get more training, qualification etc and attract better people, better trained. A good way to combat is having them wear cameras (which they do now alx). I think blm did some good but defunding police only leads to more crime and less people doing the job example:

The diaspora is falling for this spaces because we have to build our own. We aren't in Somalia so we cant have that type of connection. Other diaspora groups kept their culture through making institutions for themselves or else you will be swallowed up by more powerful groups.

White supremacy in America does the same damage to white people. You have white people apologizing for their white privilege when they are from Ukraine or just came from Bulgaria etc. Like what slavery did you own in America? This is what's happening to Somalis. They talk like black americans.

Trump for example is 2nd generation American his parents were immigrants. So he isnt from the history of slavery in America. His dad was German and his mom was from Scotland. He isnt like Lincoln, Biden etc. Just like Obama wasn't FBA but was celebrated for being black american president. When his family isnt from that history.

But thts the whole reason behind black lives matter. Using a lable tht was made during protests against police brutality to diss somali women has always looked fukin weird since somalis and AA arent the 1s fighting. Its been used by boys who dont give a sht about AA or police brutality just to sht on xalimos. Also the whole monopoly on police brutality is a funny thing to say cuz most other communities dont protest against it or get harmed the most by it. Omg the black community dissing baby blu for her hair was eye opening. They said she looked more like her dad, jay z, and the thing about jay is most black men look like him. They have such internalized self hate. If they have 1% of anything non black in their family they will tell u about it. Their hate for biracials is just jealousy.

Its usually the fobs. Somalis can be merciless people who mock people because they think the diaspora is soft. They think we complain about stupid stuff because a lot of them think life in the West is a cake walk. And yes it is but they dont get how oppressive it is here.
