I don't think it's fair to judge all caadan guys based on one bad experience. Somali guys aren't immune to stalking you know. Love doesn't discriminate.

Am, there was a Somali girl in Toronto who had a similar situation a few years ago. Unfortunately she's dead, not to scare the hell out of you. If I were you I'd keep a record of all texts and start recording the calls (there's an android app). Then call the cops, show them the texts and calls and tell them you want a restraining order. If they end up arresting him, they'll put a bracelet around his ankle and he won't get within 1km of you.

In the mean time, don't answer text messages but save them. Answer phone calls without saying much and let him keep talking. Download the android app that let's you record calls. Tell him clearly that you want nothing to do with him and that you want him to stop calling. When going out, change your path to work, coffee etc. so there isn't a pattern. Avoid back alleys or dark areas. Carry mace if necessary in your purse.
