I blame the parents for being stingy they dont give anything to their kids and expect them to be happy i went cunch when i was younger even though my parents could of easily provided for me.

My parents had the money but they would never give me or my bros anything so what can we do it was haraam the only solution is to not be stingy to your children.

As the eldest child & only son (2 daughters), my parents (dad) was financially capable showering me with whatever I wanted like brand names clothing, shoes and gadgets,, but I never got and knew well not to ask for it. Sometimes, he surprised me with a present voucher. You know what else he did? When I was in my last year of primary school, he gave me a book of a Canadian writer Naomi Klein called ‘No Logo’ and my appetite for Brandism died soon after.
