After the ogaden war in 77' when somalia lost after foreign intervention, and after WSLF lost their support, their morality within
Ethiopia also decreased.
The same way WSLF was a somali proxy created by the somali government to create cause havoc to the erhiopian gov.
SNM and SSDF were also created by the british and mengistu to cripple the somali gov. in the early 80s, and on thing they both had in common were that they were created in Addis ababa.
SNM operating in Hargeisa, and SSDF operating in north-eastern somalia wasn't a coincidence, but a calculated decision based on Siad Barres clannish ways.
Siad barre a marehan man born from a ogaden mom was never fond of Isaaq. Since Ogaden and isaaq have had their skirmishes previous in time.
In the ogaden war, not only was siad barre successfully advancing, but he also armed WSLF to fight innoncent Isaaq nomads in Hawd, to settle some old scores between ogaden and isaaq, which was the spark of the up coming clan wars, and the isaaq enmity of siad barre.
Siad barre wasn't very fond of the majeerteen clan either because of their failed Coup d'etat.
So naturally these two clans would the perfect clans to make
Head of the up coming proxies SNM and SSDF.
We all know what happened the following years with the bombings of hargeisa, and water being shut from mudug and bari, and lastly the civil war, where SNM became somaliland, and SSDF became Puntland.

How can people share language but not blood how is that possible . Somalis are divided into clans not tribe which means they are blood related we are cane and abel brothers unfortunately the political class has divided us especially since the birth of the Republic in 1960 unfortunately the military dictatorship made the situation explosive.

Indirect Ethiopia didn't do shit, the Isaaq community all over the world funded the SNM Ethiopia only turned a blind eye to SNM's presence within until Barre & Mimgistu signed for peace when that was found out by SNM the chairman being silanyo he ran to England knowing that if the Ethiopians catch and hand him one he's dead and everyone else discussed on ways too survive which led to an all out attack on Somalia's Army in Somaliland.
