When did farmajos kill hgs

Mashallah inbred guuleysto
When saadaq joon betrayed farmaajo and tried ousting him but him and his hg goons got dealt with in Shirkoole and they got chased out of xamar. They day farmaajo lost the support of Murusade was the beginning of the end for him. Farmaajo had too much cuqdad for hg he was killing 100s of innocent civilians in guriceel for no reason. He had to be removed from the kursi he was trying to follow in his adeers MSB footsteps by turning the country into another dictatorship.

AS recently released an obituary of Hassan Turki where they linked him to the assassination of the priest.
So it was the extremists who were behind the murder, it wouldn't be suprised if the NSS already was keeping tabs on these people. Unfortunately a certain sub section of somalis decided it would be more wise to loot and destroy the nation's capital now we have very little offical documentation of the goverment's activites. But i suppose it would counter the narrative they were spewing so they destroyed the goverment office buildings and adjacent ministries.
Cali wardhiigley and weheliye were gobs AUN to both. They took down the tyrannical kacaan regime and made msb die in a musqul. GOB GOB DHALAY
Both are now irrelevant meanwhile everyone in the wider region and the country knows Maxamed Siyaad Barre and the whole story of him dying in a bathroom was fake and made up by ciilqabe USC. He died in an ambulance on the way to the hospital as reported by American news.

This is why people want to move the capital, HAG wants to hold all somali leaders hostage to their demands. Otherwise they will try and oust you. We need special district capital built completely from scratch.

Lmao Somalis cant even afford a modern sewage system and youre talking about moving capitals, snap back to reality warya

These primitive 4.5 qabil politics is the problem

Are we really doing this all over again? It's 2025 and they're still pushing the MSB secular communist narrative

Abdirashid Shermake and his civilian government that ruled Somalia between 1960-1969 included prominent Christians such as Clement Salool, Michael Mariano, Anthony James the finance minister, Haji Ibrahim Egal mother in law ( Edna Aden’s mother) was also a Christian

The CIA attest to the fact that members of the civilian government between 1960 and 1969 converted to Christianity.

The secularists were the original SYL Goverment

The Somali Youth League (SYL) government, on the eve of its historic independence in 1960, extended an invitation to Israel to attend the 1st of July celebrations. the architect behind the invitation was Abdullahi Isse

The invitation however, did not go unnoticed. Arab states such as Egypt were quick to express their displeasure at the SYL government and described them as Colonial puppets of Italy

Gamal Abdel Nasser a dominant figure in the Arab world, demanded that Isse rescind the invitation, viewing it as a betrayal of the Muslim cause.

Yet, despite mounting pressure and the looming shadow of Muslim discontent, Isse remained resolute. On the 24th of May, Isse defied expectations and affirmed Israel's participation in Somalia’s Independence Day celebrations.

Meanwhile AUN Jaale Maxamed Siyaad Barre stood resolute and steadfast in his choice to expel the Christians from the country after he came to power.

However, tensions arose in 1962 when newly converted Somali Christians began distributing Christian pamphlets in Mogadishu. In response, the civilian government ordered the Mennonite mission to halt its activities.

The situation escalated further with the murder of Merlin Grove, director of the Mennonite missionary, was stabbed to death while registering Somalis for educational classes.

His death prompted the government to reconsider its stance, leading to the lifting of the ban on Christian missionary work after pressure from the Merlin Grove family.

In the 1960s, the civilian government revealed plans to impose the Latin script as the official writing system for the nation, sparking outrage across the country.

Religious leaders and the public took to the streets in protest, waving banners that read, "We don't want Latin." In response, President Aden Adde not only ignored the will of the people but also ruthlessly cracked down on dissent, ordering the arrest of protesters and respected religious figures alike.

In 1962, the civilian government officially adopted the Latin script as the nation’s writing system. By 1966, the Sudan Interior Mission (Christian mission ) had utilized this newly selected writing script to translate both the old and new Testaments of the Bible into Somali.

What was up with the SYL? I respect their efforts in pushing for Somalia's independence but then they became total sell outs afterwards by creating a highly corrupt government. Somalia's political elites were always bad it seems. A fully Islamic government is likely the best for Somalis.

The SRC and Islam

The Somali Revolutionary council recognised that Islam forms as an integral and foundational core of Somali society.

The regime of Siad Barre presented itself as a guardian and promoter of Islam, emphasizing the protection and rejuvenation of the faith rather than its erosion. It sought to advance religious education and develop religious infrastructure.

The constitution of the Somali Democratic Republic (SDR) explicitly declared Islam as the state religion

a clear distinction from secular governance, where no official religion is recognized.

This constitutional stance strengthens the case that Barre's government was genuinely pro Islam, utilising Islamic religious identity as a foundation for national unity and governance rather than furthering a secular agenda that further divides the Somali people

The Somali Revolutionary council state the following:

“𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘮 𝘪𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘢 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘪𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘪 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘨𝘨𝘭𝘦 𝘢𝘨𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘮, 𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦. CIA declassified documents confirm that Siad Barre’s government actively integrated religious leaders into the political framework.

Several prominent Muslim religious figures were appointed to high-ranking civil service positions as part of an effort to co-opt Islamic leadership.

The CIA state the following:

Siad Barre stated that Islam was a divine source of justice for humanity, reaffirming that no one but Allah has the authority to alter the religion.

This stance contradicts with the narrative often associated with him today, which paints him as antagonistic toward Islam.

In contrast, some of his Arab counterparts, like Muammar Gaddafi, took blasphemous stances on Islamic doctrine.

Gaddafi, for instance, suggested removing the word “Qul” (say) from the Quran and publicly mocked the hijab, calling it a creation of Satan.

Gaddafi later supported anti-Siad rebel groups, such as the SSDF, co-founded by Ayaan Hirsi’s father

@Jaale gaas you as re dishonest pseudo intellectual who has no business partaking in this conversation. The extent of your knowledge about this subject is copy and pasting twitter threads from LtKhalifa, a known liar.

Firstly the SYL government wasn’t perfect but after Merlin Grove’s death they didn’t lift a ban on proselytizing they in fact did the opposite they not only banned proselytization with a constitutional amendment they also forced all Christianity missionary schools to teach Islam this led to the second biggest Christian mission the SIM leaving the country due to these measures.

Secondly Siad never banned the Christian mission on religious grounds he banned them because he wanted to nationalize education. He also did it in 1976, 7 years after he took power, so if it was a religious reason why did he wait those 7 years. He also kicked out AlAzhar who was operating many Islamic Schools which have out over 2,000 scholarships to top Arab universities. It also hilarious that as soon as he was broke following the Ogaden War he allowed Mennonite missionaries back into the country. He also never kicked out the catholics.

As for the supposed Zionism of the civilian government instead of a letter Siad actually openly traded with Israel and agreed to have the IDF train his secret police so he could crack down upon on the rebels. The intermediary was ironically enough Apartheid South Africa (Hilarious considering Siad’s pan Africanist image).
1754661724733.png

As for Michael Mariano he was arrested just after the coup just like ever other civilian leaders including Abdulrazaq Haji Hussein, Egal, and Abdullahi Issa there was no religious motivation and he would have no time to tell Siad about the supposed benefits of Christianity and as your source mentions the statement is apocryphal. After being released Siad appointed him governor of Zambia till his death

@Jaale Ugaas every Tawaghit government in the Muslim world pays lip service to Islam but that doesn’t make them Muslim. Even Bashar Al Assad’s constitution recognizes Islam as the state religion. Even Norway recognizes Christianity as secular. In fact Bashar Al-Assad’s even recognizes Sharia as a source of the law that’s more can be said than about Siad (Siad’s constitution removed the article about Sharia, the article banning Proselytization, and the article which made every school teach Islamic studies from the 1961 Somali constitution).
1754661903061.png
1754661925747.png

Islamic articles from the 1961 constitution which Siad failed to include in his 1979 constitution.
Article banning proselytization
1754662016853.png
Article making Islamic studies compulsory in schools (This is the article which made Christian missions leave not siad)
1754662069757.png
Article which makes Sharia the main source of the law (This was in name only btw I’m not trying to defend the civilian government)
1754662104843.png
Article which says anything which contravenes Sharia is unconstitutional
1754662153966.png

Now both the civilian government and the military regime were Tawaghit but it goes to show that Siad even failed to met much less surpass the low bar set by the civilian government.

As for Siad’s co-opting of religious scholars this was only during first years of his regime and many scholars gave him a chance because they were sick of the corruption of the civilian regime (Sh. Abdirashid Ali Sufi even mentions that Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke didn’t do anything to stop the budding degeneracy despite being a student of knowledge). However they soon clashed and later after 1975 when Siad killed the ten wadaads, many of these scholars were either arrested and sentenced to multiple years of solitary confinement (Sh. Maxamed Macalin) or had to flee the country (Sh. Maxamed Garyare).
1754662191632.png
1754662206749.png

Sh. Garyare narrates that when he wrote a speech claiming Somali socialism was Islamic socialism it was changed and replaced by a speech wherein the president claimed “our Socialism is not Islamic, is not African, it is Marxism-Leninism”. Garyare was soon demoted and sent to Xalane which was then an Ideological training camp for civil servants
1754662757549.png
As for your claim that Siad was better than Gaddadi because Gaddafi rejected verses of the Quran (I agree, Gaddafi was also a Dhalim, a Kaffir, and one of the heads of the Tawaghit). However Siad also rejected the Ayah’s of inheiritance and said “Waxaa jirtay in maxaa la oran jiray rubuc, wa thuluth, wal khams, wal jinni, MA JIRTO TAAS”.

The family law was so anti Islam that its only comparison in the Muslim world was Turkey, which was at that point not only admittedly secular but also Laïcité. Most Tawaghit simply ban Xuduud but Siyaad was such a Dhaalim that he even went as far as to interfere in personal law (even the Italian and British colonizers let Sharia govern personal law).
1754662840456.png

As for Siyaad being supported by the Al-Itixaad this is one of the most ridiculous and asinine assertion I have ever heard and the fact that you (or better yet LtKhalifa since I know you don’t have the brain power for something like this) even thought about posting something like this should bar you from any serious discussion about Somali history.

Why would MSB go throught the process of creating Buno Costuma the police agency inteded to crackdown on indecency?

Siad Barre’s Haram Police - Buno Costuma In the 1970s, Siad Barre established a new police unit known as Buno Costuma to combat immodest dressing and prostitution. Prostitution had reached such alarming levels that Italian colonial authorities documented that there were more brothels than residential homes. By the 1980s, a shift in societal norms saw Somali women adopting more modest attire, including the veil and stricter Islamic dress codes. One Somali woman recounts a personal incident in which she was slapped and kicked for wearing a mini-dress. Accused of being a prostitute by Barre’s moral police, she vividly recalls the following ordeal. “𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘰𝘭𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘰𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥... 𝘩𝘦 𝘩𝘢𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘮𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘶𝘶𝘵𝘰, 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘴𝘬𝘪𝘳𝘵. So the only reason the speech was scrapped was to appease the countries who were sending us weapons and aid? Why would MSB anger the people funding the arnament of SNA, he had to play his part in the theatre to continue receiving weapons for the SNA.

Ending support to WSLF was necessary considering the goverment was facing its own insurgency, we couldnt be diverting money to fund millitas elsewhere. AIAI only ended it support of the goverment post funding cuts.

IDK why your acting like dahir aweys being sentenced to death is a bad thing, last i checked he ended up in cahoots with al shabab.

The law was never implented in any courts and the goverment never prosecuted anyone for following the sharia laws on inheritance and the clip you posted was a snippet with zero context.

It was theatre for continued funding for the SNA, your a very ignorant and arrogant person who likes to always claim the moral highground. I won't continue this argument because frankly im exhausted. To end my message

Got any proof of the massacres
This article talks about it briefly.

Hgs in xamar protesting against the government and telling them to stop the xasuuq of guriceel

A local man complaining because farmaajo allowed troops from hiiraan to enter guriceel and slaughter innocent civilians whilst looting and burning the whole place down.

Farmaajo orchestrated this massacre under the guise of fighting against ASJW but everyone knows it was because he was trying to settle a score with hg.

This is why people want to move the capital, HAG wants to hold all somali leaders hostage to their demands. Otherwise they will try and oust you. We need special district capital built completely from scratch.
Farmaajo tried to illegally extend his mandate by a year. He was rightfully ousted. If he had just decided to hold the elections normally none of this would have happened.

No you said he needs MAQARSADE support to stay in office. If he were to fire all MAQARSADE in the government but still hold elections you still would've tried to oust him. HAG doesn't care about democracy or elections they care about their interests and the second Villa Somalia and HAG HQ come to head they will put this time of stunt again.

Thats true. The second he lost support from Murusade was the day Farmaajo lost his power. And badbaado qaran would have never happened if your adeer just decided to hold the elections peacefully and not try increase his mandate. He has no one to blame but himself.
