Should Somali men accept to become stay at home dads due to automation?

Automation is poised to erase 50% of today's jobs in 10 years. These jobs will be what society regards as "male jobs". However those who will not be hurt by this are women as they are in fields that are in demand. Men do not want to train for these jobs (health care field).

Somali men will be unfortunately be hurt a large deal due to automation.

Should Somali men consider the role of stay at home dads while us women work in the booming health care field and provide for our families?

I believe that Somali men would go crazy if they stay at home and take care of the kids while the wife is working. This isn’t their natural role and it will definitely have a negative effect on their ego.

Well what are they going to do when they lose their jobs? They have no choice to stay at home. There's only so much you can do with your free time especially when you have no job and live on a one person income. Children need to be looked after and cooking and cleaning needs to be done (something the mother cannot do if she comes home after a long irregular shift.
