-Sambuus is our own version of samosa, just like Arabs have their own version of kebab (shawarma) despite it being Turkish.
- macwiis is a colorful version of Somali traditional go' which native.
-Sabaayad or Kimis is somali, anyway it's just a type of bread. The fact others have similar types doesn't mean it belongs to them. And even if it's inspired by them countless nations have foods that were partly inspired by others. Italian spaghetti vs Chinese noodles for example.
- all languages have borrow from others, English vocabulary is half latin despite it being a Germanic language. Anyway 30% is too much , half of that is probably common afroasiatic or southarabian words
- duh, somali kofiyaad comes Islam, but there's a native production in Barawe. Pakistanis and Afghans have their own version of Khamiis but you don't see them in their forums crying about their national dress being a variation of Arab clothing.

Many people in this forum are uneducated self haters who have a hard time understanding this basic simple fact. Civilizations share stuff. The entire music of the western world is inspired by rock which was invented by black Americans, now tell Italians their famous 60-70s and 80s pop music belongs to blacks or tell the British the Beatles belong to African Americans

It seemed from your post that you are trying to say somalis have no culture. Dude we are right next to the Arabian peninsula and we are Muslim ,of course we are going to have influence from there. English people stole tea from India and made it a national tradition.
We didn't even steal stuff. We adapted foreign stuff to our own culture, Somali sambuus is our one food despite it comes from India originally, the recipe is different.
Didn't know that. This proves my point, the indians enjoy their own version without feeling ashamed that it comes from Persians. They made it their own and adapted to their culture.
I know cadaans who tried somali sambuus and prefer our own version to the Indian one which is often times vegetarian
We barely even know much about our history -as of now there’s hardly any archeologists working over there due to insecurity. But the did find over the years, through small excavations, very interesting stuff. Examples include Punt artifacts, greek and roman pottery, inscriptions of ancient languages, etc,
