The statue of the sayid could be placed there if the park is built
personally I think the statue needs to be in the centre of the city
I wouldn’t call it an idol it’s a symbol of Somali heritageSayid was Muslim Mujahid. Why do you think he wants idol of himself?
An idol is an idol. It don't matter what you call it that's how Satan introduced paganism to humans he just said its to remember great people from our history.I wouldn’t call it an idol it’s a symbol of Somali heritage

he was a sufi. Im not sure he would have interpreted it as an idol. Look at the one of him in Xamar now or the one that used to be there before interahamwe sold it for scraps to Arabs. In the past Somalis didn’t interpret it as an idol. This is a relatively new understanding among most Somalis, not to say that it is wrong.th
he would have never allowed it AUN

It seems like the Ethiopians don't really care about it.It should be in the centre as an important reminder. Kind of shocked Ethiopians even allow that statue considering the history.
That was an Amhara? I thought that was an Oromo that did that.Helpfully another drunk amxaaro doesn’t piss on it while hopeless Somalis watch in horror again
They are all the same to me sxb, may have beenThat was an Amhara? I thought that was an Oromo that did that.
He definitely wasn’t Salafi/Wahabi or whatever you want to call it. The sufis are known for grave worship. He was Axmadiya, he wasn't these weird qadariyas
Their biggest dream for Somalis is they develop asabiyah with aethiopids. Somalis and Canfar are so distant and uniform that they don’t even bother trying to overwrite their culture like other regions. It should be in the centre as an important reminder. He wasn’t Oromo nor was he drunk. He was a Habesha shortbus kid. They are all the same to me sxb, may have been
What's wrong with widening streets/roads? Wider streets/roads are better than narrow streets/roads. The only time when narrow streets/roads are acceptable is when its impossible to widen them.Shouldn’t be a statue in general but if there were it should be in a monument park.
That being said the idea of widening that roundabout further or widening more streets is a terrible idea.
That mistake is why America is a wealthy eyesore. Houston is 10x the population of Venice and 20x richer but which one would your rather visit. They have now realized that but reversing it will take multiple lifetimes. What's wrong with widening streets/roads? Wider streets/roads are better than narrow streets/roads. It ain't the same homie those nighas back then where worshipping the idols giving them gold and praying to them nobodies doing that for this statue it's just a reminder of our historyAn idol is an idol. It don't matter what you call it that's how Satan introduced paganism to humans he just said its to remember great people from our history.
Its simple the wider the street the more space for cars which means less crashes and better traffic flow. The streets in my city are super wide it's very easy to drive in if you crash you're not looking at the road at all. Compared to asian cities where it's super narrow and tight with traffic up the ass you have to be on point the whole ride or ur gonna swipe something. That mistake is why America is a wealthy eyesore. Keep the streets narrow and buy buses until you can afford trains. Underdeveloped Africa should be learning from these expensive mistakes.

This seems logical but it isn’t true. Numerous studies have shown that increasing lanes doesn’t have a meaningful impact on reducing traffic in the long-term; more people just end up driving. Its simple the wider the street the more space for cars which means less crashes and better traffic flow.
