Saudi man says Sudanese people lack intelligence

The Arabs got extremely lucky with oil. Without it, god knows where they will be.

But their wealth comes from good economic management on their part.

Countries like Venezuela and Nigeria are oil producing nations and are nowhere near the Arab world due to economic management.

Sorry but I have to be fair.

Saudi Arabia has around 20-25 million citizens, not including workers.

Venezeula has more oil reserves and has a population of approximately 28 million.

It’s all about economic management and avoiding sanctions.

The irony is that academia in Saudi Arabia is dominated by Sudanese people, especially mathematics and engineering. Every Saudi knows this so they cope by trolling.

Even with 30 years of civil war, heavy sanctions, and corrupt dictatorship Sudan manufactures things that Saudis need to import or use foreign expertise for.

The type of oil that Venezuela has, it’s better to be on the ground than try to get it, they even get oil from other country, cuz their oil is too expensive to extract and it’s only worth it when the barrel price is high, but right now the oil barrel are dirt cheap, they would be losing money if they did any oil productions and anyway Saudi oil are the most smoothest and cheapest oil to extract, inshallah Somali has that type of oil

Sudanese are highly intelligent, they are nearly in all the gulf countries doing professional jobs, i have Sudanese friend from Dubai studying In the U.K. her family are very influent and valué education, i wish Somalis become more like Sudanese and have a highly educated diaspora as well as at home

When a Saudi royal or rich kid is born don't they kidnap a Sudanese kid to be the saudi kids servant/slave?

Most N/Sudanese are handicapped and rely entirely on Arabs. Their language, culture even flag is influenced by them. They have nothing original to them so ofcourse Arabs will scoff at them and look down on them.

What...? So much ignorance in this post but I don't expect much from the same troll simping for South Sudanese in the other thread and hating on Northerners... Seek help.

Sudan is home to hundreds of different cultures, tribes, and languages bounded by Arabic as a lingua franca since the Sennar Sultanate.

You have the right to be full of hate, that's honestly your business. However, when you spread trollish misinformation and make ignorant comments like "they have nothing original to them" you only show us how dumb you are.

Edit: The innocent man in the video you posted isn't even Sudanese but thank you for showing us that you're a sociopath.

The Sudanese do have their own cultures, however, Arab identity and culture is dominant and it's been accorded a certain level of prestige.

Sudan is economically linked with key members in the Arab League and relies on them for loans, debt relief campaigns and foreign direct investment.

The Sudanese flag is derived from the Arab League colours. The Sudanese State has often embroiled itself in wars in the Arab world due to this perceived bond of kinship; Khartoum sent military contingents to Iraq during the Iraq-Iran war in the 80s, and I know this because a lot of the soldiers were Southerners and this is why men like Peter Gadet Yak came back home with titles like "Al-Iraqi".

The deposed Bashir regime sent thousands of troops to Yemen at the request of the Gulf States; "Hemeti" organised the transfer of paramilitary units from Sudan to Libya in order to further the interests of the UAE and Khalifa Haftar's forces in Libya...

..Private companies from the UAE were also involved and they 'tricked' Sudanese men into fighting for them in Libya.

Sudan used to be the largest recipient of U.S. military aid in Africa after Egypt and was the 5th largest recipient in the world; this is how Sudan acquired C-130 Hercules aircraft and M60 Patton tanks...

..Sudan lost the favour of Washington in 1989 (for various reasons), but they ultimately earned the ire of Washington because they supported Saddam Hussein, even as he tore through Kuwait; Saddam Hussein supplied arms to Khartoum during the North-South war and so they showed their loyalty... and it cost them dearly.

Elements within Khartoum (like Al-Turabi) became far too close with the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and this is precisely why Hosni Mubarak accused them of being involved in the assassination attempt he survived in 1995 in Addis Ababa. It's been revealed that Qatar may have supported that assassination attempt and used Sudanese Arabs like Hassan al-Turabi to achieve it.

The oil in the Arabian Gulf is lighter and much easier to refine than the oil in Venezuela.
Nigeria has a population of nearly 200 million which is around 4x the population of the gulf put together and they have way less oil.

Thanks for the qashin, I see you want to have a mature discussion on petro-economics.

Yes, you’re right about Venezuela and Nigeria yet they have still severely mismanaged their economies regardless of their petrol deposit size.

The economic transformation required to turn your country from desert dwellers to a hub of business rivalled by even some Western countries, is immense.

You can hate on anything else but their economic management has been impressive.

If Somalia decides to extract oil, they should follow in their footsteps.

You are so wrong its funny. The economy of gulf countries are poster boys unsustainable management. They are whats known as rentier states, their economy is not diversified and the whole thing is run like a welfare system to keep their population obedient and not challenge their authoritarian rulers. Oil prices are plummeting, now what.

Their population is lazy and dumb, their infrastructure is qashin, and they are too reliant on foreigners who will pack their bags once the oil jobs run out. The Gulf is a ticking time bomb and so is petro industry. Somalis needs to leave alone the pipe dream of oil and start looking to the future which is in sustainable energy. Its 2021 not 1921, that chapter has closed.

I agree with you on the fact that these nations use immense amounts of welfare to keep their citizens happy with dictatorship.

However, when Gulf students get paid approx 40K a year just to go university abroad and have their fees paid for, they’re clearly investing in their people.

Similar to Botswana, the GCC have been reliant on natural resources but have been diversifying as of late. Dubai is a business hub for tech/start ups in the MENA region as well as a logistics hub.

DP world (an Emirati port company) owns most major ports in the world.

Furthermore, many of these countries have set up sovereign wealth funds with diversified investments across the board.

By the time oil dries up, except for KSA, I would bet that the UAE and Qatar will remain somewhat prosperous.

@Dhere

You do understand we will still have demand for petroleum even if we phase out fossil fuels.

Petroleum has many uses aside from fuelling engines.

Somalia should extract petroleum but also account for the negative externality. If they can also manage the money responsibly, the economy will definitely improve.

You couldn't have picked a worse example. Saudi is by far the worst managed of the Khaleej states in terms of overall benefit for all its people. There are many impoverished Saudis out there and loads who are just about middle to lower middle-class and not all that taken care of at all. The government even displaces its own people for vanity, ajanabi stroking projects:

Not to mention that Saudi is still the most dependent on oil and least diversified overall of all the Khaleej states.

I said on this thread that KSA will not become prosperous after oil runs out.

In fact, they may even see civil strife similar to Egypt.

However, my point was that the Saudi government still has decent economic management. It is not great by GCC or OECD standards but is still impressive when analysed over the last few decades.

A Somali being anti North Sudanese. Ceeb. You are our kin as far as I am concerned. All that shared Proto-Nilotic and even ancient Cushitic/Afro-Asiatic ancestry... our closest living relatives outside of the Horn and at least you guys are fellow Muslims unlike the Xabash. Ceeb. If only the conquest of the Xabash had truly succeeded and they had been Islamized. Sudan and the Horn might have been able to become one nation.

Imagine, bro... we'd probably have had the strength to wrestle Nubian lands from the Masris and northern Kenya from the gaalo and Bantus. A nation from Aswan down to places like Garissa. Ya rab! I would have gladly accepted Arabic as a lingua franca and created this great nation that could compete with the likes of India and China today.

UAE and Qatar have a native population of less than 1 million each, both their population combined is still 1/2 of Mogadishu. Nothing about their prosperity is impressive. Qatar has more energy reserves than the US and China put together, economic management kulaha. Impressive is the Asian tiger countries who have built diversified economies with their own native population.

As of 2015, 70% of the UAEs GDP came from sources other than oil and gas.

By the time oil becomes irrelevant as a fuel source, they will have become reliant on other diverse sources of income.

Stop hating for the sake of hating and give credit where credit is due.
