They can ask for their MPs to represent them but what can they do other than complain on Facebook. Those whose MP are handpicked only care about their own pocket. There’s also the fact the MPs are effectively in xabsi guri and reliant on the government for their security.

Nearly 50 percent of these MPs are not even in somalia. Have you seen the voting that happens in the parliament.

A lot of of the times the parliament does not even meet the qourom. So sxb I don't know where you got the idea that majority of them invest in their deegaan.

I can’t help but think you're a bit delusional lol. This is Somalia, not Denmark. I can assure you if Denmark wouldn’t arrest their MPs for corruption the same would happen there. As long as there’s no rule of law don’t expect any ‘bravery’ or ‘not caring about their own pocket’. All their money btw goes to nairobi and Istanbul.
