This is true lol. I have an observation in my family: I have two brothers, one married to a Somali girl, one married to a White girl (no shade, they’re both great).

Even despite the fact that my brothers are wayyy more in tune and not helpless losers like most (know how to cook, etc), I’ve noticed the one with the Somali wife does less, is less romantic, has more expectations, etc, basically its a shorter stick. I’m still sure it’s more equitable than most Somali marriages, simply bc my brother is not the an average “Abdi”.

Y’ll have lower expectations for ajnabi partners.

Yep, i've seen that as well. They help around the house more and have less expectations.
