I was thinking like that aswell But when I heard that he relies on his father to buy diapers and baby food and hes out late with friends I see no point to help him out I even got a friend who could line him up with a job But he refused

I believe people should be helped thats why I send money to relatives so they can build a shop or something that pays off in the longterm

But this Guy My friend would help him out with a job But he refused saying it was beneath him it was a simple construction job

Just give him if he doesn't ask you monthly for money and it's sporadically. Specially if he's the son of an aunt/uncle you love or your parents loved. Don't underestimate the value kinship holds in Islam.

Yes I know that kinship is important in Islam But I got bad experience used go send 400 bucks monthly to an uncle only to find out later on that most of it was being spent on his khat addiction

You cant exactly hold that against him maybe he doesn't want to do construction but what I don't understand is he doesn't have siblings or parents he can ask or maybe his wife's family because you are just a cousin and not responsible for feeding his family?
