you add all the small roads together and they make billions. ok lets say the government build this road what about the road next to it? and the one next to that?

people will always complain about a broken road, until all the roads are fixed you will always get people complaining and to fix the roads requires funds the government does not have.

its like you complaining to your parents why you don't live in hollywood in a $20 million dollar house.
I think they should prioritize and invest in infrastructures people use the most as much as possible. I know it's a big job and the government is weak and doesn't have enough funding to build the whole city. But you have to try your best and see how much progress you can make.

Actually us young ones tend to be opened minded on separating ourselves from being part of Somalia. And some of us such as myself are outright secessionists. It is the older generation holding us back. They believe in Somalinimo bullsh#t.

They are the hardliners like how you have SL hardliners. They are few in numbers tbh but some of the elite would want nothing to do with xamar in both camps

Most ppl are pro-somalia but focus on pl. It's not one or the other.

Separation is the best solution.
Nah confederation which PL advocates for. Let each state be it's soverign and have a mutual defence pact for powerful foreign aggression (We're weaker without a strong central state overall) + a additional clause to stop states from declaring independence. Who could complain then?

Could be like a large UAE - some states are weaker & some states are stronger but they are ruled by their own rulers and we could compete on development instead of pointing fingers at each other.

That wouldn't be a bad idea, only if the south was peaceful, stable, and governable. The south is holding the rest of the country back. They can't agree on anything meaningful and are always at each other's throats. I still believe separation is the best solution.
