I understand HSM can be weak and sometimes just utterly embarrassing. But at the end of the day, you gotta give credit where it's due.
He has been making some legitimate moves this year and the last one, from connecting us to allies and potential allies to the Oil drilling project. You can't name me a president who has made similar moves in the past 20 years.

That’s literally the bare minimum. He’s such a bad president that it made me realize why the previous admin stayed in office for an extra year. They did it to secure debt relief, which would have been defiled by this administration and their open corruption.
As someone who was excited to see how Hassan performs and seeing his supporters happy (I was happy too, wanted to see how he improves the nation, I thought he learned better from his first term). Hassan is the worst thing to happen to Somalia since siad barre assassinated our first president.

HSM has been traveling left and right, connecting us to big investors Like the U.S. that's something Kheyre or Farmajo never even attempted.
at last, the guy has sacrificed himself to be humiliated publically so that future presidents of Somalia might come out strong and stable. Be fair and give your leaders some credit.

Tbh, all the above achievement were started by Farmaajo. HSM just finsihed them off. With that same logic Farmaajo also deserves that credit too for starting those processes.

Yes, if you don’t know this. During Hassan’s term there’s actually reason to reinstate it. Neither of these politicians is to my liking, it’s just that one is much better than the other.
This was put on track for the sole purpose of getting a new verdict on the ICJ case, Ruto doesn’t meddle in Somalia’s inner politics like his predecessor so it’s the only reason it doesn’t happen yet. If Raila was president they’d have gotten their ocean back after Hassan’s decision.
again this is bare minimum, coastline is a good company but there was a better deal which was available with the Turks. With better split. So now we split it with coastline 60-40, then with the Turks 70-30. Which leaves us with 40-50%

Notice how they aren’t following up on their base promises for Danab with economic projects to help pay for the troops once the US decides to up and leave. With Danab dependant on the US, they can be used.
