Racism against Oromos

Wallahi i'm shocked, surprised and appalled by how some oromos here quite shamelessly play the role of the victime. Somalis expanded? From where and what land did they steal? Who did they kick out and who did they somalified against their will? Where is the historical records of this supposed somali expansion?

Somalis are still being pushed from their land in ethiopia by oromos on the border yet we're the expansionist? Random oromos claim mogadisho bosaso and hargeisa but no somali claim any oromo city. Oromo expansion was recorded in arabic habashi and european recordes yet you hear some oromo playing the victime role claiming that somalis took some of their lands away, what lands? The only good oromo in my eyes is the ones who stay put in their lands.

Oromos are good people on the whole but they should focus on only Ethiopia. Oromos should be aligned with Amharas in ending Ethiopia's ethnic federalism system if they are not content with only Oromia state @Abba Sadacha

Somali's openly brag about it too, so let's not pretend that it's an one sided fight or conflict, when Somali's have taken lands from us too, and we've taken land from y'all. How did we expand more, you guys came from Madagascar, no one is more an expansionist than an Oromo who didn’t exist in Ethiopian history until the 16teen century. The Somali peninsula has always been native Somali, our coast has always been Somali

Like many of you, I had or might still have some form of dislike for our cousins to the west however this doesn't mean that I'll become a racist nationalist. It makes me sad knowing that only Oromo migrants can unite Somalis regardless of politics. They're in every tuulo, every farm, every town, every city and even in the miyi/baadiyo I see no reason to hate on them for seeking a livelihood or tahriib away from Ethiopia. As long as 60% of them are Muslim I welcome them to my land, I might have some dislike towards Oromos but I'm willing to put nationalism behind as it stands in the way of Islam.

Why don't you first welcome them in your villages and towns in Sanaag before lecturing the rest of Somalis? The other day you were complaining about Surre clan, a fellow Somalis seeking representation in Sanaag. Yet you are ok with Oromo who are hostile foreign invaders overruning our country. I'm not hateful or racist against Oromos or any other group of people. However, my brain has more than enough capacity to understand that it is not a smart move to welcome hostile groups to our country out of security concerns. Especially a group of people who openly discuss expanding into our land with the aim of taking our coastlines.

There are two things that are not to be conflated.

1.Xenophobia
2.Wanting our borders to be respected.

It's NOT xenophobic to want Somalia to belong to Somalis. That's just common sense, the world has countries and passports for a reason. What's more, Oromia and Somalia do not have a deal for open migration, in fact, we are at war (cold war?) if we consider the facts on the ground.

This is not directed at @Laagite but at some of you have trouble understanding that it's perfectly normal to not want your country overrun by a hostile group.

This is true, the issue lies with the lack of bprder checks on both the Somali Regional authorities and the FMS, the other factors are the Somali tahriib mafia solving these issues we need a strong local governments.
