My mother is very proud of being Somali and she passed down the culture to us. The stereotypes, while they might hold a grain of truth, is not applicable to all cases.

I know some Somali girls who are married to professional ajanbi men. We’re not doing this for the lols. Somali girls have been getting pimped out in mosques for apples, kitabs and cans of Pepsi. It’s not the majority but it’s enough to be noted.
