Sounds like he knew UN call for others to come to meeting was imminent.

What UN call?
A meeting that doesn't bear any fruits is not one that is worthy of attending.

Qoor qoor knows if PL and JL do not come hen HG will not get PM.

Qoor qoor doesn't give a F about Fartcity 3 resolution because he knows he just needs to hoist it for his tolka to get PM.

Worst feeling is when you're landing and the guy that's suppose to pick you up from the airport isn't picking up his phone :pachah1:

Qoor qoor ain't going nowhere, he never was so quite the bulsh1t.

In matter of fact it's Deni who's being crying like a little fat woman, and now she will be coming here after been scolded by her husband's in Dhusomareeb.

A woman throwing a fit is what we see with Deni.... truly an distasteful act.

Sounds like Deni will arrive on Friday

damn this is sad they should have just showed up in the first place. Nobody expected that US reaction though the sting of being called a spoiler in a failed state:wow: its too late the horde already won everything that it wanted unless PL is accepting defeat them coming to try and disrupt the process won’t sit well with the US or anyone else really. Maybe the horde will throw a bone to PL and favor 1m1v (in the future) but they aren’t going back on the 13 extra seats for benadir

To keep your balance, you must keep moving.
What are you thinking could be consequence other than verbal chastising of that midget Yamamoto
My two cents for what they are worth.

First we need to look at the US geopolitical interests in the Horn of Africa.

Prior to coming to Somalia, Donald Yamamoto was the US ambassador to Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea, as well as acting assistant secretary of state for African affairs. He is the one who crafted the US strategy for the Horn of Africa which prioritized regional integration and Somali state-building.

So, we are talking about a guy who has a lot of experience and carries weight in the US State Department.

Yamamoto is not in support of Somaliland's independence and insists on the US assistance to Somaliland always going through Mogadishu.

There is a whole campaign going on against him in the US by the pro-Israeli lobbyists. Their mouth piece is Michael Rubin. This guy is so wicked. He openly supports Haftar in Libya, despite of mass killings of civilians and bombing cities. He advocates for Somaliland's indepenedence and chastise Yamamoto for increasing US tax liability by assisting Somalia in debt relief, etc. But, you will never see Rubin raising the same concerns when the US gifts Israel billions of dollars every year.

So, that is what kind of people Yamamoto is standing against.

It makes Deni's tuulo shenanigans highly opposed by Yamamoto as he has almost a tunnel vision about how Somalia should proceed.

Deni boxed himself in.

Option 1: He comes to the table and works as a team member and say that is what he was gonna do anyway. Deni's fiasco will be forgotten.

Option 2. He continues being a spoiler with his closeted stance stunning political progress by scheming around. He will be eventually wiped out, most likely from within. The US has this kind of clout and plenty of experience.

Option 3. He goes nuclear and tries to split from Somalia Somaliland style. It is a road to nowhere.

In conclusion, Deni does not strike me as a smart or shrewd politician. It is hard to predict stupid people.

Good take, only thing I would add is I don't think the US is interested in a state building/unified Somalia in the sense that all states agree with eachother and work together. Status Quo is the unity they want, where its Unity in name only but otherwise there's political stagnation and constant fights. This way Central Government can be influenced by using different states as a counterbalance, ie no debt relief unless such and such state sign off on it or Election Law passed in Parliament means nothing unless states sign off on it in Dusamareeb convention, etc.
