Somali Airlines will return to 2018 and Fahad Yasin to be named as CEO of the company

According to JFS's President, Fahad Yasin and Minister of Planning Jamal Mohammed Hassan, signed a preliminary agreement with Doha in Qatar, a Qatar Airline and a Qatar Airways representative.

The two sides have agreed to reopen the Somaliairlines airline, with the company becoming a co-owner of Qatar and Somalia, and the Somali government. It has been agreed that the shareholding ratio of the company is as follows.

30% Qatar Airways and Qatar Airlines
30% Somali businesspeople (Fahad Yasin and a businessman named Ahmed Moallin Farah)
40% Somali Government.

Qatar Airways will provide three flights to Somaliairlines, which is a loan. The type of aircraft that they are said to be
1. Two Boeng 737 400 aircraft
2. One plane AIRBUS 340.

According to sources close to Villa Somalia, it is expected that the formal agreement will be signed after the cabinet reshuffle, and the statement states that Minister of Transport Jamal Mohamed Hassan or Abdirasak Shoolle is making it easier for the three- bridges to Somaliairlines.

It also reports that RW Hassan Ali Kheyre and Fahad Yasin have been disagreeing to this agreement by RW Hassan Ali Kheyre to incorporate a businessman who is a relative of Rw Kheyre, whose name is Abdi Ali.

It is not yet known how they will be able to operate in Somalia's airports operating in Somalia, primarily by Jubba and Daalo.

Qatar lends them airplanes that are supposed to go store in the desert. Sound like another dangerous African airline.

737 and 340 look too big for domestic flights.

just like somalis here in minnesota start with one truck freight and expand to a whole fleet

just like somalis in eastleigh started with tin shacks and formed the biggest business hub in east and central africa

somalis in somalia with three planes and good governance can rapidly conquer the african airways.

I have been hungry for good news/development :ohhhdamn:
But a question, why do two people have 30 percent ownership? and what will happen to all the other airline's operators?

I don't feel like the other Somali airlines will understand the concept of best service wins. I feel like they will try and destroy this even blow it up :cosbyhmm:

'if a flight is longer than 10 hours fuel consumption turns inefficient and those flight paths become less economically viable on the other hand flights shorter than four hours international airlines cannot compete with the domestic budget based carriers therefore a flight time between four and ten hours is the target length for long-haul international carriers'

All major Somali international communities besides America are within reach.

The two major Somali based airlines merged with a combined revenue of 75 million dollars with 13 international destinations, however, they are not registered in the country. Somali airlines should buy them out

Qatar Airlines was launched in 1994 with a fleet of 2 and now 24 years later the fleet size is 220. In 1990 when the civil war started Somali airlines fleet was in its 20's with decent planes with smart investment and management I believe we have the right opportunity with growth with Qatar as a partner.

No but if they land without permission in Hargeisa, Somaliland will get a brand new aircraft for free. They can just arrest the pilot, let the people leave and take the airplane. :denzelnigga:
FGS would probably do an under the table deal with the SNM and one way or the other its going to happen

Yes but that is different, if they make a deal and want to make a direct route from Mogadishu to Hargeisa there is no issue.
