When the SNM did their coup they killed many Daroods in Hargeisa. Most of them were Dhulbahantes and Warsengelis. They even did the same again when the government collapsed in 1991. Once again, mostly Dhulbahantes and Hawiyes. They get along ok since Habr Jeclos stop the other Isaaqs from mongering war since they know they will be the ones to bear the brunt of it. Dhulbahantes are tough folks anyway, and I can't see a reality where they are colonised by SL. Even the Buhoodle, they fought back the SL army successfully and Buhoodle is a small city. But Dhulbahantes seem to be like the other Daroods, they have forgotten what these non-Daroods have done it us. It's only logical to move on when the other party acknowledges their wrongs and asks for your forgiveness. You can't just forget what happened unless you want it to happen again.

Al-Shabab serves Hawiye interests, everybody knows that. They only seem to be at war with Jubbaland and Puntland, Jubbaland especially. They do attack Mogadishu but that is different, thats because they run a racket in Mogadishu. If you don't pay their ransom they will attack you business (hotels). Have you ever heard of a front between Galmudug and Alshabab? That's because they are the same. I forgot to mention that they also run SWS. Damn shame too.

Al shabab does not operate in PL. Every time they do come they are flushed out. We had a bad war against them after the out break of the civil war. Even just this year PL defeated 400 Al-Shabab soldiers that caputred Garacad. Today we are fighting them Qandala. The best can do now is capture small fishing villages and hide in the Galgala mountains.

Alshabab does not operate in Gedo, they operate in the Jubba River valley and in Galguduud. The Jubba river valley has been their natural home and whenever they are chased out of other regions they go and hide there. If they were chased out of there they would be defeated. Jubbaland is currently making progress. I hope they step up their efforts and defeat al-shabab.
