@Karim that is great news. Somtel was involved in that spying incident anyway.
The problem is that Hormuud don't offer data packages in Xamar :ohlord: :trash: :trash:
Only 45% have access to "improved water" whereas that's 70% in Puntland. You are very correct they have an extreme lack of foresight in Somaliland maybe they thought recognition is around the corner and we will drown ourselves in international aid.

You have to look at people like @Silky and @Lordilord and understand why they are so triggered. Why are their DPs Abdiweli? What has this man achieved during the last few years? They are finally coming to the realization of what they are! When you have lived your entire life thinking you are better than people who have been in a civil war for 30 years come to find out you are not only worse but much worse it takes a toll on any man.
Horta how many functioning airports are there in the SL region?

It's not a mystery to the outside, it's a mystery to the Jeegaan. There are many studies about this including the World Bank which you chose to ignore. Your dubious inclusion of piracy tells us all we need to know, there's no need to be so defensive!

No wallahi you misunderstand my intention I'm actually interested in how PL has some how leapfrogged the other somali regions when we seemingly started from the same level and have similar economies with no major natural resources.

what are the biggest industries in PL, what are it's exports.

Is fishing that lucrative since that seems to be a difference.
Telecoms, livestock/agro, port are all present in both.

Or maybe PL are better at finessing that aid money with that famous MJ sixir :trumpsmirk::ulyin:

How exactly has puntland managed this? Where from/how does the admin fund their projects. (Taxation, port fees, piracy?)

Genuinely interested cos PL's whole economy is a mystery to the outside.

They are literally waving about a single report done, allegedly, by the World Bank in 2014*. I have asked for evidence and sources used to generate this data. I have not heard any reply.

Their entire economic output is less than Hargeisa and it's surrounding area. They are only good at one thing - blowing smoke up their own arses. I would like to see how the World Bank report came up with its figures. So far I have yet to be given any evidence. When you can't pay your own armed forces and civil servants, despite having a quarter of Somaliland's population, I call bullshit.

*Even if the data in the report was true it was still misleading and purposefully inaccurate. In the report, the eastern portions of Sanaag/Sool, the poorest area in Somalia after Bari, were added to Somaliland. So they fudged Somaliland's economic data by adding the poorest regions, occupied by their harti kin.

Don't believe their dhuuso, they also believe Somaliland has a smaller population. These fuckers whole world revolves around Isaaq.:drakelaugh:

The study is from 2016-2017, not 2014. It was updated in November 2017. I don't think you have read it if you can't even get the year right.

The one you cuqdadles were running around with was from 2014/15. I can read, thanks. I know what Per Capita income means, for instance.

I didn't misunderstand your intention at all, your inclusion of piracy was a petty dig and testament to your emotions. The report is not an economic one, it's a poverty profile.

Their consumption distribution is on par with Xamar in regions that get the most aid while both their inequality and poverty rates are significantly higher than Puntland

The poorest region in Puntland (bari) is richer than the richest region in Somaliland (waqooyi galbeed), their richest state even has more poverty than Mudug which we share with hutus,

that should tell you everything about "Somaliland" :drakekidding:

The thing is it's very clear that SL is in a poor state which has many contributing factors laakin what's not clear is how PL has somehow managed to overcome this, which if true is great, but how did you do it exactly.

According to PL wiki, it has lower poverty rate because

"Experts believe this is because of higher consumption and higher labour force participation. Households in Puntland consume a higher quantity per capita per item and more items per household."

This suggests that services and/or manufacturing is a big and important factor (and these workers are then taxed presumably), so where are the examples.

Only among the ignorant is numbers and facts considered cuqdad. Even if it was from 2014/2015, what's the difference? :ohlord:

Horta every time you bring out this report you never answer my 2 simple questions.

1- why doesn’t Punani stare pay its ‘soldiers’ on time and they resort to holding gov buildings hostage till they are paid ?

2- why was the Punani state printing out fake currency ?

That is very damning. Thanks for posting. Do we have any stats on the aid distribution?

Are you serious? You want a list of companies in Puntland in the report? This is not a case study of economic activity in Puntland it's a poverty profile, it literally says that on the first page. Please read the report cause I'm thinking like I'm wasting my time!

Your going to even lie about that are you. I don't care if your link says 2020. I'm talking about the "report" you were running around with for weeks. Moron, at least read my responses.
That's the World Bank study. You are confusing it with the 2014 World Bank report on Somaliland's economy which showed the stunningly low GDP per capita of 347 dollars.

This fcker doesn't even understand the difference between poverty rates and economic growth. That's why he's purposely being misleading by presenting a report on poverty rates as "Puntland Iz Da Rich".

Notice how he also does not address my point about the regions in Somaliland with the highest poverty rates as corresponding with those with Harti populations.

Notice how in this report, Sool and Sanaag are definitely Somaliland territories, and there is no dispute.

Notice how none of this has any relation economic output, but income inequality.
