The reason they took over bosaso port is to make sure it stays neglected so it doesn’t steal any traffic from their main port aka berbera port. Smart move if u ask me

I’m an Isaaq so I see the logic from Somaliland perspective of wanting to eliminate the competition but why would DP World invest heavily in Bosaso if their main goal was to sabotage it?
