This explains the district confusion in Puntland. PL is officially 9 states and 50 districts.

There is 3 levels of districts. A-B-C.




Congratulations for Harfo, Carmo, Xingalol, Bareeda, Bocame who went from District C to District B.

I swear some of these new towns would be considered Gobols in Somaliland.

@Laagite is there other towns in Makhir that deserve 'District B' allocation? District B depends on 'financial' capacity, how many villages report to it, population size, and if it delivers govt services, are the criterias used.

@Libaax-Joore garowe is strategically the best city as a capital. They can't mess with dhulos ama las anod ba laga soo galaya, they cant mess with omar mahmud burtinle iyo aagas ba laga soo galaya, same with osman mahmoud qardho iyo aagas

Definitely Xingalool its a big district that stretches until the Sool border
