Our nation, borders, and government were formed by foreigners. I’m pretty sure they even picked capital.
Today in Somalia we arguing over English terms in xamar like federalism and parliament. Maybe when we were learning democracy from west something was lost in translation

Regardless of Mogadishus tribal location i support the capital to have representatives at the upper house or maybe both houses and self-government even the US senate Democrats introduced bill to grant statehood to Washington D.C and have representation
PL sees for Mogadishu/Banaadir to have a representatives at both houses it has to be a state first based on two gobol that is not the capital but as a capital its not against having self-government and electing it's mayor just against having representation
Banaadir having representation will require political agreement between the FMS and SFG it will be decided in the next meetings but PL is not part of it. It will be based on 4.5 not the same numbers though obviously the locals will have more and the others will represent Mogadishu not their regions.
Let us say Hargeysa was the capital i will still support it's residents to have representation.

@bidenkulaha I can't waste my time on u when u deny u charge $1000 on vehicles 4 one time usage while PL charges $30 for 3 months, the reason u charge more is due to less trade and u tryin to milk limited resources to boost up revenues, that's the fact. Ur whole revenue is inflated to the same porportion.
@The Midlands we not talkin about local govt, they can manage their own local affairs, but not federal affairs or else it will not be seen as neutral on politics and cud lead to even parties or clans being discriminated in the future, u see the danger since weji siyasadeed buu yeeshay? plus it must be distinct to the regions it represents or whats stopping 90 capitals emerging? it must also not have tribal character cuz somalis r not 1 tribe.
