Puntland Future Is Finished. Italian Language Back

All business language in today world is English so there goes investors ticking 'PL' is undesirable investment location due to lack of Language skill and when they see these people speak italian, they will give all jobs to Somaliland and SSC.
All books and learning is stored in english, which will also disadvantage our youth not knowing the language when entering university and they will not perform. Why? all because of these silly old timers who think the world is the same world post world war 2.
The british education is world class. All the areas they colonized are leaders in their region like Malaysia compared to Indonesia. South Africa. Kenya. Nigeria. Egypt. South yemen was the dubai of the region untill it merged with 'wax qaawan north yemen'. Even Gedo uses their curriculum and their students are always out performing others in Somalia.
My father says 1950s when the UN gave Somalia a choice between UK/Italy trusteeship, our forefathers made the biggest mistake by going with Italy mafia. That's why the NFD/DDS happened for revenge. Why they chose Italy and the axises who lost World War 2 to the allies baffles me, they knew the outcome by then in 1950s.
Why always am I always hearing Niyad Jab. The greatest leader in Africa today and country predicted to be on singapore path, Rwanda. Mr Paul Kagame got rid of belgium crap which was their colony and made english official.
Our largest diaspora are where? not in fkn italy, their in uk/america/australia/new zealand/canada, what will happen with their kids and the kids they have when they come to Puntland and cant communicate due to lack of english? they will just stay in the west and become like african americans. We must make english mandatory for local kids so the next generation kids and diaspora next generation can communicate and knowledge transfer.
Their is absolutely no benefit to Italian, that old generation is nearly dead, plus italy we dont have diaspora that warrants it, plus education/business isn't in italian, their is too many negatives to adopt it.

Ethio, forget them bro, I don't get why Somalis over-invest in them. Their no different to us where english isn't official language, so investment is going to be RARE becuz other english ready nations will be more favored. Plus their diaspora next generation will struggle to reconnect and knowledge transfer due to language barrier and will take their talents and help the west. Haven't u noticed the ogaden academics are where? all in KENYA not bloody ethiopia. Why? Kenya is english speaking, education is world class compared to non english speaking areas of africa. Even Gedo kids perform better due to kenyan curriculum with somali kids.

Even if they are learning a second language it should have been English, Arabic or Spanish . Italian Is a very langaab language in todays world !

Italian is good because they have a highly developed manufacturing industry geared towards supplying parts and machines to both developed countries like France and Germany and more primitive economies like Libya North Africa
Speaking Italian could get you a preferential access to Italian technical training in manufacturing and mining . Even their mining is cement and infrastructure geared something we can use
English is far too global, close alliances are good
For that same reason we should also learn Arabic more importantly to facilitate trade and relationships in our region

You’re insane, Italy has no future. 20% of their population is dying soon and they have a demographic crisis. They don’t want to replace the aging population with immigration but also can’t increase birth rates
Scratch Spanish and replace it with Chinese. Somalia should have a policy called ‘Look East’ and foster partnerships with Eastern Countries like China, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. The Look East policy was implemented by dr. Mahathir of Malaysia and it was highly successful.
Walahi development is as easy as copying and pasting from other countries. But we have dimwits as leaders.

They’re far too complex and highly specialized, in industries like optical lens manufacturing , aerospace, automobiles, and robotics have a surplus access to human capital to train across Europe whilst also having access to natural resources
Chinese have far too much human capital and mainly focused of extraction of resources due to the human capital and resource imbalance in their country even if they outsource for cheaper human capital or labor it’s from the masses of agricultural workers in the south and southren countries like Vietnam Cambodia Thailand who also have quite complex industries or at least familiar backgrounds
East has such a large urban human capital surplus that access to education and education is highly competitive and there’s a cultural disconnect — benefactors choose who they associate with and general ku choose those of kin or similar cultural backgrounds

I’d say Turkish might be even more productive than even Italian to learn as their economy is also based on supplying and supporting up and coming Middle East and North African economies, their population is small enough that they’re willing to train and their access to resources is more constrained than EU countries with global access

Sending reer miyi Somali to Germany or France to learn aerospace manufacturing is silly, you have all of Central Europe ahead of you let alone the Middle East etc and the technical knowledge we need is available in much more closer and friendlier places
