Absolutely crazy story. Worth the watch. But essentially a Russian group sponsored by their government hacked a very popular fanfic site which has a heavy LGBT user base to try to make these teens Islamophobic.




A lot of the Somali trolls are looking very funny in the light now. If they were LARPing as Sudanese, they definitely did Somali 1st. This anti-Somali sentiment was born on the internet because it's not from real life.

I have been told for years that I am a crazy conspiracy theorist tinfoil hatter or whatever.... but now I'm realizing it's perfectly accepted to be a conspiracy theorist... you just have to say "Russian hackers" instead of saying "freemasons"....

for example, if I say democracy is fake and the elections are rigged.... crazy conspiracy theorist.... if I start talking about freemasons... conspiracy theorist...

but if I say "the Russians" maybe I'll be invited to talk on CNN...

anyways, I would like to see this guy's proof... I have doubts about these stories of powerful, omnipresent Russian hackers being this hidden hand everywhere and lurking under the bed

if I wasn't aware that Allah is watching me then I would like to find a stick, find my nearest "experts" and start beating them with the stick.... I am tired of the cult of holy experts... I can say "I think there are two genders" or "I am against homo propaganda in kids schools" or whatever and then these experts get summoned to appear on TV and say "no, you are wrong, bigot"... whatever random agenda is being pushed this week, they have "experts" appear and give their rulings endorsing it.... I am fed up with "experts"... for all I know this could be propaganda that has something to do with the West vs Russia thing or whatever.... ultimately, I am calling for Putin and NATO to put their differences aside and start doing something about all these sinister "experts" running around

You're using Twitter arguments with me here. I never said all trolls are not Somali. I know there are incel, shit-stirring actually 100% Somali trolls. I was in a Twitter space with them yesterday while they were being vile.

But is it that so unbelievable that a proportion of them may not be real? What was the motivation behind pretending to be Sudanese in this case?

I'm just telling people to be vigilant. That's it. Somehow that's what's got people upset.
