I must say Russian propaganda is exquisite. They got muslims thinking that they respect islam because of a few incidents as if they didn't massacre chechens, syrians, circassians and many more. It's doesn't require propaganda for them to side with Russia. Look at all those anti-West people. The overwhelming majority of them support Russia to various degrees. By default. Including Muslims. It makes you wonder if an anti-West stance per automatic makes you pro-Russia. I've seen Muslims of those ilks even attempt to justify the atrocities of Russia and deflect by using 'whataboutism' against you when you question them. Very odd people.
