Both Deni and Firdhiye are petty leaders. They fail to see the bigger picture which is the dangers of Somlailand and FGM wrecking havoc between the two brotherly clans. They should secretely meet and each do his own thing without the obvious bickering.
Khatumo couldn't have refused that opportunity to welcome Hamsa and the SFG to Las anod, but they should have been aware that Puntland and SFG are in war, therefore should have never sided with FGM in the sensitive issues, namely the fake one man vote agenda and altering the constitution.
Puntland on the other hand is mature state and should not have responded in the manner in which they have responded, by opening diplomatic channels with Somlailand. Puntland is established state and should have let SSC have their moment.

I agree it was Puntlands job to mentor SSC through these times. If I was Demi I would’ve told Firdhiye to play ball but when it comes down too it don’t betray me.

SSC leadership did not just land on Earth. They’re fully aware of HSM’s open hostility towards Puntland and Jubbaland and his attempts to push through his fake elections and hijacking of the constitution.
They’re fully aware of how HSM ignored the war in LA when SL were shilling civilians. These are grown men who are very much familiar with Somali politics so lets not infantilise them.
It’s impossible for Deni or anyone else from Puntland to mentor or advice those who are quick to accuse them of being jealous whenever they’re warned about HSM and his mafia.
Anyways, we have seen the exact same thing happen with Jubbaland. They too turned their back on Puntland as soon as PM Hamza was appointed and decided to go along with HSM’s overhaul of the federal system/constitution and dismissed Deni’s objections as being “jealous”. Only to end up being discarded by HSM with SNA soldiers being send to try and overthrow Madobe and being placed under air blockade.

Did you hear Deni speach calling for peace with SL, same SL threatening our people with invasion and genocide, the same SL claiming Harti land to create a bogus country.. I have much respect for you my sis, but really Deni is doing a big mistake by inviting or befriending SL. Then once SL again invades ssc and Khatumo falls what has PL gained from this? What about all the Harti blood and life's sacrificed to liberate ssc, it'll all be in vain.. I've seen on Social many trolls with PL flag making the PL and SL flag side by side like we've become two brotherly nations overnight, some even asking to be invited to celebrate 18th of May.. I'm tired of the PL first idiots booty clapping for SL, they make reer PL look weak.. With that said I'm not a fan of khatuumo politicians or their decision to alienate PL leadership, it's a horrible strategy from their side.. PL and Khatuumo should've worked together as two brotherly states, but again this would be difficult to for ssc Khatumo since they weren't recognized as a federal member state, so I understand they're in a difficult position compared to PL.. Deni is wrong for inviting and forming a relationship with SL. This will only lead to problems and more terror issues for PL.. Harti will suffer in the end by these decisions.
Walal, I absolutely agree with you on your opposition to any close relationship with Somaliland given everything that has happened and their secessionist agenda. I too am disgusted by the fools bootyclapping for them on X just like it’s distasteful too see those doing niiko for the mafia in Xamar.
However, I don’t think that we should always be the bigger person and tolerate those who align with those who wish to weaken Puntland even if they are our kin. The FGS menace is a far bigger threat to Puntland than SL will ever be. Puntland is also in a difficult position and under attack from HSM and his powerful foreign allies who seek to drag us into a conflict with the Houtis and link us to Israel, UAE and the conflict in Sudan. Not to mention the arming of milltias in Mudug and the financial blackmail using foreign funding. All as we are fighting international terrorists in the mountains.
With elections coming up soon in Xamar and HSM under pressure by the international community for broader participation, there was no need for SSC to completely roll over for HSM at this stage. They could easily have welcomed PM Barre to LA and worked towards their objective of federal status, waiting out HSM if necessary.
So, if SSC leadership have decided to pursue their immediate interest without any concern for how it impacts Puntland, with the full support of Reer SSC, why are they attacking Deni for playing politics with SL? It is this hypocrisy and double standards that I’m calling out. The constant barrage of abuse towards Deni and Puntland while they act like Firdhiye walks on water. Not having that sorry walal.

SSC was offered statehood, which wasn't something they could refuse. They know the FGS was neutral in that war and ignored or was silence about SL war crimes, but that offer too good to ignore. PL should have understood that, and started talks with SSC on how to proceed from there. But they went on the other direction and hosted buurmadhow. Complete petty and ciyaalnimo from Deni's side.
