Imagine calling Deni an enemy after all the support he provided. Hill Harti would have been not been possible without full support from Deni’s administration. Something an enemy would not have facilitated.

Deni has stated on numerous occasions that he respects and accepts the people of SSC self determination and wish for their own state. He is absolutely right to ask for clarification about the future relationship between the two states.

Puntland’s constitution includes Sool and Sanaag and was something that was agreed upon decades ago by the elders. With the new reality of SSC Khaatumo, the constitution needs to be changed but this requires talks between the different parties so that a settlement can be reached and we can move on as two neighbouring federal states.

I struggle to understand Majeerteen animosity towards SSC. The Gareen state is in a difficult position, seeking legitimacy from a hostile Xamar whilst trying to defend the border. They don't need Majeerteen sabotaging them as well. Do Majeerteen want Iiddoor back in Laas Caanood? If yes, why did they bother sacrifice all those lives and wealth? If not, why does Deni's inner circle keep calling it Sool Bari and doing things like this? Then again, maxaa iga galay? Ha biqlayso.

Lascaanood wants to pursue an independent foreign policy which is opposed to PL, fine no problem, we all know where that will lead them, but why the insults and accusations of sabotage, what evidence is there to prove that?
