Part of SSC as they live there and sacrificed a lot for the cause, the current leadership is only temporary, we’ll see many Warsangeli join SSC in the future as things improve. The ones in Sanaag that is, the ones in Bari will remain part of Puntland
Its a bittersweet moment for me, while I am happy for Dhulbahante and their absolute recognition of their state, I feel a dire sadness for the people of Gedo still under the yoke of Dictator Madoobe. Not only have they been bribed but have totally given in to this madman. Will we see a free state lead by my people? Hopefully in my lifetime.

Don't worry bro @KawhiLeonard is pro HG interest and it's in HGs interest to recognise SSC state, and since President HSM is a HG puppet all will be in favour of SSC getting their state.
The Somalia's National TV SNTV that HGs manages already started recognising SSC state.
In my opinion going to Garrowe is more important than this visit as it has been always PL officials that were against granting statehood to khaatuumo as I don't believe southern officials are against the wishes of Laascanood ppl whatever that's being said on social media, so pls for anyone in here I'm not equating or saying that the a particular clan or the ppl that those officials hail from is to blame as its the norm for Somalis to do when they hear or read something they don't like

I've feeling this is plot cooked in Djibouti by Somaliland and HSM. The purpose is to create friction between the two Harti cousins. Somaliland figured they don't have a chance against united Harti so this plan is create disunity between SSC-Khatumo and Puntland. I'd have liked for Firdhiye to wait for the grand Harti meeting to separate the two mamuls and open a meeting with FGS after that. The friction is already apparent in social media circles. We will know what type of leader Faridhiye is after this visit. If he can get a public recognition from the Somali government it's worth it.
Every day that goes by makes it clearer that Somaliland's biggest miscalculation when it declared itself independent in 1991 was claiming that independence on the basis of the 1960 borders and not on Isaaq clan borders.
Somaliland was left making an incoherent argument in favor of secession i.e invoking the Kacaan government's ethnic cleansing campaign as the basis. This never made sense given that ~45% of those within the 1960 borders were never targets of violence, why do they also have to secede from Somalia?
Now, 32 years later, it is impossible to do 180 turn and argue in favor of a clan based Isaaq secession. The momentum of the 1960 borders argument makes such a turn impossible. Isaaq will be re-incorporated into Somalia in some manner. They gambled everything on seceding with all of British Somaliland and lost.
The lesson: When things go your way, don't go for 100% of what is possible, leave some gas in the tank for the ride home.
