Brotha in 50 years I hope to see a beautiful developed Somalia with young generations that have no clue why our country was in a civil war for so long in their grandparents generations. I imagine an oil rich country that is respected through out the world. That is the Somalia in my dreams and inshallah that will be the reality. I can be patient because I don't live there, but can you tell the people living in qarax and dhibaato everyday the same? The president of Somalia should only be respected by how well they can tackle 2 main problems: security and poverty/famine. If I don't see even a little improvement on either those fronts, or at least some active long term plan, I have no reason to feel optimistic

A young person born and bred in Somalia has not seen a proper system in place. So how can a guy born in late 80s who grew up and has not lived in a country with state system for a significant period kid be expected to bring back order.

No one person does anything, there is always advisors and collaboration with other politicians who may be from the diaspora. So any person raised in SOmalia who is relatively educated should be qualified.

God fearing and upright
Known as an honest and just person
Not have ties to any foreign nations

Be older than 40 but younger than 60 lol

(And of course they should also be well spoken and have a confident appearance)

But someone like that would never make it with the current sham set up. He would have to rise up from the ashes and take over. It seems to be the only way...

Right...Maybe he should've considered a PR position, if such a thing exists, because thats all he focuses on, image.
