Arabic name don’t care really. I know some Somalis who hate their Arab names so much that they changed it in court. They always get mad when I accidentally call them by their former name.

My abtirsi is a mix of Arabic and Somali names, there's Ismail, Ahmed, Jaamac, Muuse, etc, and then there's Guuleed, Faarax, Warfac, Geedi, Gacal, etc.

Inshallah I will name my children Somali names only
