Kane you’re right, people follow their feelings, but unfortunately I’ve found Muslim men are guilty of that.Pick me is a concept made by gaalo to describe a woman who appeases men not married to her.
in Islam a wife has a duty to both please and obey her husband, and if a conflict arises between the wishes of her parents and that of her husband. Her husband takes precedence, according to Islamic law.
But you are free to follow whatever belief that aligns with your feelings, because most of you worship your own desires. Your narcissists.
What proof do you have this Hadith is Daiif? This is an example of the made-up hadiths that used to indoctrinate the muslim population either for political reasons or social reasons, the hadith is a daiif, basically BS hadith.

If someone asked you who is more deserving of your financial provision, Mum or wife, you’d say mum wouldn’t you? Yet the correct answer that would make most of us feel uncomfortable is the wife.
‘But the wife takes precedence over the mother in one case, and that is the matter of spending. If the husband cannot afford to spend on both his wife and his mother because he is poor, then in this case he should put his wife before his mother.’
If you were poor and couldn’t afford to feed your mum and she was elderly but had to provide for your wife who is young and could work, who would you choose? We both know the answer but it seems Muslim men only like telling women they come first over their parents.
Apart from making the husband the center of whether the wife enters janna, the hadith narratorWhat proof do you have this Hadith is Daiif?
Great way of getting out of answering the question. I rarely vote and go straight to commenting and I nearly do that in every thread. I don’t for one second believe that the ‘husband is more important’. Should the wife obey him more? Yes. But what Islamic proof do you have he is more important? What scholar uses those terms? The wife should obey him more then same way he needs to provide for his wife more. Does that make her more important than his mother since she’s more deserving of his money? Of course not.It clearly states sahih, anyway do you have any legitimate sources to validate your claim?
Angie if I’m right and you agree then why am I the only one who voted for the husband?
I don’t like mudug girls position but she is brave for standing on her truth unlike you and hodan.
who are flip flopping so hard y’all got me day dreaming about tuna sandwiches.
Are there scholars of the past that viewed the Hadith as weak?Apart from making the husband the center of whether the wife enters janna, the hadith narrator
claimed Abu Hurayra as the source of the hadith, then later claimed Abu Awf to be the source, which create conflict. It is like saying i heard Angelina said that and tha, and later claim the one who said was not actually Angelina but Basra. I hope my broke English is understandable
yep, they pointed out who the hadith sourcing is problematic. Are there scholars of the past that viewed the Hadith as weak?
I don’t think any woman would get triggered if you say you love your mother more? How could you not? That’s the woman who birthed you, breastfeed you and went through all that hardship to raise you and in the same way her mother did the same and only a mother would love you unconditionally.Same loser women will get triggered when I say I love my mom more than her. If a woman is not committed to her husband then that marriage is on feeble foundations and women path to heaven is thro the husband
