it’s not even about being feminine it’s just understanding basic Islamic law, most Somalis are ignorant about Islamic law and the rights of a spouse.

i would never put my wife in a position, where she would have to go against her parents. But if it ever came to that and she chose her parent over me, it would be in my rights to divorce her for braking her loyalty to me, and for disregarding her duties as a “dutiful” wife.
