Don't make life hard for your mother. That is all I am just going to say. There are some people who you cannot handle, but try to compromise or deal with it.
If she wants Pasta, she gets it. Or wallahi, when she dies (May Allah give her a long live), you will feel guilty and you indeed will remember the days of you arguing with your mother over Pasta. After that point, you will not be physiological alright
And also compromise if you cannot do that. Make Pasta as well as Butter chicken
And last advice, dear @SOULSEARCHING is, do not talk behind your mothers back, and talk ill of her. Whatever she does, she is your mother at the end of the day, who took care of you since you were in her belly and until now.
Most mothers say they will curse, but never do. Since they love their kids. Somali parents are lifeless and unselfish with their kids. Night and day they will work for you and help you. So, your mother is probably angry or going through a phase. Just wait it out or listen.
And if you don't like it, just leave the house and go elsewhere, but don't you talk ill of your Mother nor father behind your back!
