Wtf? Persian was literally the language of Islam. It was used even in Somalia literally every educated muslim would speak Persian. Persian poetry was written in India Arabia Morocco
Spain Turkey Balkans Russia Indonesia and even in Somalia! Persian has the most books on islam second to the holy language of Arabic. How much of the most important islamic scholars where from Iran, Uzbekistan , Turkmenistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iraq, Turkey! They all spoke Persian lol! Persian is actually the 2nd offical language of India Pakistan and Bangladesh the elites still speak it and Urdu/Hindi is heavily influenced by Turkish and Persian and Arabic! Because of the moghuls!

I wish the moghuls forced all indians to speak Persian. That way Persian would have 1 billion speakers in Sri Lanka Maldives Afghanistan Bangladesh Nepal India Bhutan and Myanmar not the langaab language it is now. In fact in Iran itself many dont even speak Persian. How embarrassing.
