I never knew there was a group of men so obsessed with their hairIt’s a subject that I didn’t know existed before sspot, hair type 4b, c1 and so on. It’s like finding out teeth have types and sizes. It’s a whole world out there
Tbh it’s a Somali thing no other race(men)caresI never knew there was a group of men so obsessed with their hair
If I’m gonna be honest I have low views on most of the people on here. What do you think?
I think it’s because of how diverse our hair is. You can have a nappyheaded somali with a timo jileec sibling.Tbh it’s a Somali thing no other race(men)cares

The problem is these people really aren’t joking about what they say.I think members here are very smart with so much potential, but sometimes we get lost in the suugo trying to ride the wave. It’s ok to be an individual and be urself, it’s liberating even if the opinion is unpopular
Nah speak for yourself, I love my hair and so do most people I know love their hair too.People are never pleased with their hair.
It's too limp
Too straight
Too curly
Too coarse
Too thick
Too thin
Too long
Too short
Too sparse
Disappearing
Or all gone
It's best to just count your blessing (that it's actually there) and try not to alter it since it's probably bad for your health.

If you hate your hair then most likely other people are happy they don’t have your hair, try your best to fix it.
I was half-jokingI don't think you understand where I'm coming from. I didn't say anything about my hair specifically. I only mentioned that people (often women) make comments about their hair and being displeased with it in someway or at some point in time which is pretty universal. Hair does not stay the same either. One can lose their curls from flat ironing, hormonal fluctuations can occur i.e. postpartum shedding or hair loss from illness. It's certainly not static. Nor is how someone feels about it.

And bring back that old lady in your profile picture
the one that looked like this

When I first joined this site I thought a lot of what they said was funny, but then after a couple months on here I realized the sad truth. They’re really not joking a lot of times.
I say a lot of rude stuff but only in jest. I remember the first time I tried to call out this weird attitude. Then I was berated and attacked by men twice my age and calling me a simp.
I realized they have their own issues that cause these attitudes. Their reaction to these issues is what makes me think low of them.
UMMMM INTERESTING WHAT YOU COOKING FOR DINNER IM HUNGRYI'm thinking of straightening my hair permanently. 10 years ago I use to use relaxers and that damaged my hair so I cut the ends and my hair grew back healthier.
My hair is long but because it's 4b it looks short.
What are the pros and cons of permanent straightening?
