Permanently straightening hair

I'm thinking of straightening my hair permanently. 10 years ago I use to use relaxers and that damaged my hair so I cut the ends and my hair grew back healthier.

My hair is long but because it's 4b it looks short.

What are the pros and cons of permanent straightening?

4b that's impossible, that's uncommon and unheard of in the Somali community. I don't believe you.

There is a form closer to permanent I believe its called Japanese straightening or something like that, its expensive and takes like 8 hours of work over a few days.

I agree 100%. I did a big chop a while back and I’m learning to embrace my natural hair. It’s a long process but one that’s worth it.

When water is on my hair it's straight but when it dries it becomes a frizzy curly mess.

Somali timo is a mystery I got a couple of sisters running around like a bunch of Hindi tamils and im out here with some timo dhagax,

Ameen sis. I always saw my hair as problematic, so did my family. But im embracing my natural hair now.

I’ve got my Japanese Hair straightening and I’ve been doing it for a while and I’ve never looked back. The hair is like grass the less you mess with it the more it grows I get my root growth done every 7 months because my hair grows fast (3 b texture) and I’ve never used relaxers or hair colouring before so my hair was always in good condition. If you don’t like permanent style you can get keratin treatments like Meghan Markle. I am almost the same length as this girl.
