I guess you don’t understand the meaning of subtleties and hedging language like ‘reports’ and ‘indicate’ rather than concrete proof. Maybe you should ask ChatGPT if it can say wallahi it’s true.
20 billion is the guaranteed for now and minimum they haven't even explored more areas and regions - so I can't say wallahi that only 20 billion since there's high chance more barrels are yet to be discovered.

- You must be Somali AND
- You must live or work in mainland Somalia
That’s all. I truly hope the Somali government enforces this strictly. Djiboutian Somalis who have never even stepped foot in Somalia should not be allowed to claim our resources. Fadlan, stick to your own country or come and contribute by working in the mainland.

For me, it will only be confirmed when actual drilling begins. We've been hearing for over 20 years now that Somalia is about to discover oil, people online even claim we have 110 billion barrels. Yet, two decades later, there's still no drilling. The same cycle keeps repeating. In another five years, you’ll likely see things from my perspective when no drilling has happened. This whole oil exploration story is just a way for the Somali political elite to give false hope to the people, promising that wealth is just around the corner, while the country makes no real progress in anything else.
Oil block isbaaro looks like a good investment to make.
