Even if the oil is real. Somaliland will 100% either demand the rights to some shares or just won’t care at all. And who’s to say if we did ur suggestion that they wouldn’t just leave and secede from the country like they’ve always did.

If oil and/or gas was real and in significant quantities their elites would stop pushing for secession and moreso for confederation (I.e., something halfway between FMS/FGS) and they’d probably get it.

We also got mining deals coming with Turkey. This oil deal should be negotiated. Which it probably will get by next administration. They need to give multiple oil blocks to China aswell. Since last time they offered 50/50 even on recovery costs if i remember correctly
