I know Sheikh Isaaq was an Arab and I think this other major clan founder. We do have minimal Arab ancestry for the most part but it's only like one percent unless you have recent mixing in your lineage.

The Arabs are too different themselves to be united under a single state and most probably won't support the idea either. Look at the different fractions, tribes or sects in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and Libya that are the root causes of conflict in those countries.
Also, You should rather first ask whether the Arabs would want us to be part of a such state if it would come into existence . And from the Arabs that I have met, I have a feeling that they wouldn't want to, especially if they find out that the majority of Somalis don't speak Arabic.

We would enter the union as Arabs. The union would be Federal we would have our own Province or Multiple Provinces.
