Pachnoda Iskuulka is a Native Somali Flower Beetle that was recently discovered in Sanaag-though found in various parts of the Somali Peninsula including Puntland and Somali Galbeed.
The specific epithet "iskuulka" for the beetle Pachnoda iskuulka comes from the Somali word for "school" because most specimens of the new species were collected near a school in Buq of the Sool Region where the species was first discovered.
