I do occasionally notice this small sort of fascination of somali amongst my friend groups. However it stays as mere fascination for two reasons 1 because these are real life interactions that are being had so a person cant easily turn to dissing me Because im a high value man who dont do no cooning. And 2 because im not active enough to witness this sort of behaviour in the wild

It's always been there I think it just went under the radar when we fought for our place and it became taboo to be racist and xenophobic now look at the times where people are becoming increasingly racist (probs bc the world became more RW) without consequences its allowed these sentiments to come out again. It'll probably cycle around again in another couple of years
