No one is saying guntiino is not a Somali. What we're saying is when you see other Horners and East Africans wearing it, don't be rude and aggressive by calling it "cultural appropriation". They have as much claim to it as we (Somalis) do. Besides, many Oramos lived throughout the Somali territories a few centuries ago and some of them are today amongs us (Somalis). Additionally, some of the Oramo-speaking peoples you see have their roots in bigger Somali clans. So no one can claim their origins. We can claim it; Oramos, Borana, Reendiile, and other horners can also still claim it as well.
