Also, the same thing is going on in Mieyso, Moyale, Tuli Guleed, and other border towns which are part of the Somali region. Its part of a larger issue, no need to get caught up in semantics.

Meiso is in the Somali Region, it's part of Sitti Zone. But the people who live there are Issa and Hawiye Karanle. The Hawiye there identify more with Oromo culture than Somali. They speak Oromo but classify themselves as Somali.

Your talking about another Meisso in the far west. The Meiso that is being discussed is in Shinile. It's a district within Shinile.
