Yep more than 20,000 employed, providing cheapest telecom prices in Africa and some of the fastest data. And it’s growing every year, they are looking to expand to neighbouring countries.Hormuud does alot for somalis runti , they are the biggest employers and biggest donors in Somalia. Regulation should be put in place against giant companies like them tho

We should support our business to become regional powerhouses. Not cut them down ffs
They cornered the market because they are good at business

Of course they are good at business, but they also play dirty. It's not healthy for an economy for one company to control everything. They stifle innovation and competition.Yep more than 20,000 employed, providing cheapest telecom prices in Africa and some of the fastest data. There should be a free market, for sure. They practically own the government however lolOf course they are good at business, but they also play dirty. It's not healthy for an economy for one company to control everything. They stifle innovation and competition.

Hormuud practically strangles the South. Dahabshiil, another monopoly in the North is no better. They should be remoulded into the likes of the Chaebols of Korea or the Zeibatsu of Japan with their focus directed by industrial policy into strategic industries, rather than competing against every Faarax with a new business idea.Actually we get tough competition from Dahabshiil and other Isaac companies. Those bastards tried to expand in Mogadishu's market and they won't even let us compete with them in Hargeysai or Somalilands market. Puntland won't even allow Hawiye businessman to open offices over there.
The government should give full financial backing to companies like Hormud to expand into as many markets as possible within Somalia without them having to think about making a profit or breaking even. We should replicate the way South Korea used their Chaebols to stimulate econlmic expansionI like the attempt, but Hormuud are dirty monopolists. Also, you shouldn't let Landers in if they won't let you invest in theirs
Billions. Couldn’t find a specific number online Laakin Hormuud as a company is more financially well off and also hold more power than the goverment imo. As soon as you arrive to Somalia you see the bus carrying you from the plane to the arrival place all have Hormuud signs and ads on them and the last thing I saw after the plane took off from Mogadishu was a huge billboard which was a hormud advertisementHow much nur ali jimcale worth?
This 150-bed hospital cost 4 million in Rwanda. That same money ($12m) would’ve garnered her more ajar if he had build it with a Hospital
It’s his money he can do what he wants. He built it in the name of his late father sheikh Cali jimcaale aunWhat’s the point of building more huge mosques when we already have so many that are mostly empty? Why not build a hospital for the poor?
