If the ammendment are actually passed then I'm sure little will change in the short term. Sure, the ego of some will be hit after they're no longer allowed to call themselves president of x land.

I think the real issue is the discussion on whether the nation wants to go down a parliamentary or presidential system. Whether we have 2 parties or a multiple parties. Another significant consideration is how the seats in the parliament should be allocated. Should the election be based on proportional representation or the winner-takes-all approach, also known as the first-past-the-post system.
