I’m pretty sure he has votes to push this through and rumour has it even some heavy hitter MPs from puntland like sanyare support changes. Not sure how Deni will react but guessing he will cut ties with FGS and Ountland will do own thing like somaliland. Rest of FMS will fall in line

Deni handpicked the puntland mps that are in mogadishu. They represent puntland and they will vote whatever ulusow commands.

I never understood why people were so hung up on FMS leader’s calling themselves President. The leaders of the different autonomous regions of Spain also call themselves President. Imo what the leaders call themselves is the least of our worries. The division between the FGS and the FMS won’t go away with a title change. There are much bigger problems to discuss

Yea but that autonomy didn’t came out of no where. Autonomy helped bring peace to different areas during the war. Imo the FGS should focus more on defeating Al Shabaab before it addresses the autonomy that the FMS have. Which is a bigger threat to the country, the FMS or Al Shabaab? I think the FGS has the wrong priorities
