How do you know about our lineage, when you know nothing about us? Tell me more then, who is borana? who is barentu? what is maccaa, tuulama, arsi, jiddu, rayyaa, Horo, gurraachaa, Sadacha, Daalle, Dullacha, etc...and others? Do not google it, tell me from your knowledge, if you are truthful!
I've seen plenty of somalis with so called wide noses, that's a feature you can find all over the world, you can also find thinner noses all over the world- sorry, that's not good enough of an argument, try again please. She’s right though oromo isn’t an ethnic group it’s a confederation of different ethnic groups who share one thing in common language and all those groups you listed I know all about and if you really want me to get into it I can point out why oromo isn’t at all an ethnic group as a tulama is more genetically closer to an amhara than an afran qallo who’s more genetically closer to a somali than a tulama. When I speak about us looking alike, I am talking in general terms, meaning the average Oromo and the average Somali do share at least SOME similarity, but you deny it because obviously you harbor some arrogance and hatred for Oromos; yet your hatred and arrogance will not change established facts. tuulama come from borana, afran qallo from bareentu, the two moieties of the Oromo nation.
so, of course they will share more with their immediate neighbors as far as religion for the most part, goes, but descent/ancestry/etc is more in common with other oromo's.
a cisse somali in djibouti most likely feels closer to an afar they live next to, than an ogadeni in jubba land, or a marehan, no? but shares more far as ancestry goes with fellow somalis.
