Somalis have always fought but also made peace with one another. We can fix our issues, it only requires willing parties who want to change for the better.

Was Mogadishu 100% fine before the war? Of course not. Trouble started in the late 80s but until December 1990 people were still living in their homes and the city was intact. When the USC conquered Xamar it became a hellhole, even if you claim Siad Barre took part in the damage while fighting the USC the guy left Xamar in January 1991 basically else than a month after the start of the war. Everything that happened to Xamar after that was entirely USC responsibility. Anyone who denies this is lying
